1 Samuel 1:27 “For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition that I made to him.”
Psalm 127:4,5 “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward, Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.”
Well the baby is growing away! I am 35 weeks and am excited to meet her soon, but savoring and soaking up every minute of being pregnant. I am still sleeping great and feeling good, everyday it is a little bit harder and a bit more work, but overall I have had a wonderful pregnancy. Don’t get me wrong, I am looking forward to my belly not resting on my knees when I sit down, having ab muscles, being able to see my whole body when I look down, and having the option to park in any spot that I find and not think about if I will be able to get out of the car. After the baby comes a whole slew of changes will come again, some I can expect and many that I could never anticipate. Gavin and I pray for her often, for her health, growth, safety and salvation. We are so excited to be parents and humbled by the weight and responsiblity of it all. It will be a joy and blessing beyond our wildest dream. There are many fun times to come but I am trying to enjoy and savor today. When I had my coffee this morning (decaf) I was reminded that in a few short weeks I will be enjoying a latte with a much sweeter and precious Madeline….

Sweet girl,
You and Gavin are already amazing parents. We are praying for you and Madaline daily.
